Statement Concerning  Raising the Allosaur

Out of consideration for our duties and obligations as witness participants to a mediation agreement between Creation Expeditions and Mr. Joe Taylor, Vision Forum has, up to now, offered no formal public response to a litany of Internet-based attacks generated by Mr. Taylor and his cohorts criticizing our film Raising the Allosaur and questioning the Christianity of our president, Doug Phillips. In light of Mr. Taylor’s actions and the changing legal circumstances surrounding the mediation agreement, we are evaluating the propriety of a thorough public response to Mr. Taylor’s charges and personal behavior towards Vision Forum, our families, and our staff. Suffice it to say, for the time being we strongly disagree with both his methods and his message, which we believe to be irresponsible and false.

We want to assure our friends that we firmly stand behind the integrity of the film Raising the Allosaur. Also, contrary to the claims of our detractors, the voluntary decision to withdraw the film from circulation (for the present) had nothing to do with concerns on our part that the film was untruthful. We direct our supporters to carefully read the statement by Mr. Ed Watt as a helpful background paper on the current status of the dispute.
