What a privilege to be the father of three precious daughters and husband to the greatest wife in the world. My constant prayer is that the Lord will continue to affirm them as women of God. This same prayer is the heart of our mission at Vision Forum. Since our founding in 1998, Vision Forum has been committed to the restoration of the Christian family. We aspire, by the grace of God, to encourage the rebuilding of a culture of virtuous womanhood. In a world that frowns on femininity, that minimizes motherhood, and that belittles the beauty of being a true woman of God, we dare to believe that the biblical vision for girlhood is a glorious vision. It is, in fact, a beautiful vision. It is a vision for purity and contentment, for faith and fortitude, for enthusiasm and industry, for heritage and home, and for joy and friendship. It is a vision so bright and so wonderful that it must be boldly proclaimed. We are here to proclaim it. Amid a culture brimming with mixed messages, shallow and self-serving ideals, and depraved “role-models,” may you and your precious daughters find the following pages to be a refreshing and edifying oasis of innocence. Girlhood is a very brief season in the life of a young lady. Nurture it, protect it, and by God’s grace, fill it with the principles and tools needed to make it truly beautiful.
