Before you spend four years and $75,000 to learn Charles Darwins philosophy of law, take a few days to learn the Founding Fathers view.
Having grown up in and around politics for my entire life and practiced law in the defense of home school freedoms and parental rights, it is my observation that there are four key problems that undermine the ability of Christians to influence the society in which they live: Lack of confidence in the Word of God as the sufficient guide for law, ethics, and policy; Ignorance of the comprehensive biblical foundation for our common law and constitutional government; An ungodly dependence on pragmatic, rather than principled, methodologies; and, Failure to practice what we preach by living out godly principles of self-government in our own homes. The Witherspoon School was founded to specifically address each of these issues.
Over the last four years, the Witherspoon School of Law and Public Policy has graduated hundreds of students, including home educators, law students, pastors, attorneys, judges, legislators, and many others who share a common vision to better understand the biblical foundations for law and public policy. Witherspoon students have the opportunity to learn from, and interact with, some of the finest Christian thinkers alive: godly jurists like Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, principled theologians like Dr. Joe Morecraft, faithful historians like Dr. Paul Jehle, and proven statesmen, like my father, Howard Phillips, a former executive branch agency director and United States Presidential candidate.
We have selected some of what we believe are the very best courses from recent Witherspoon schools and made them available for the first time to those who have not been able to attend but still want to benefit from our outstanding faculty of Christian leaders. Use it as a home study course, for pre-law training, or for family enrichment. Approx. 21 hrs. on 16 compact discs.
I came to share what I have learned and instead received a blessing. All who attend the Witherspoon School of Law and Public Policy have an opportunity to share in the restoration of our Nation One Nation Under God.
