“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it....” (Genesis 1:28)

Among the first commands given by the Lord to man, and later repeated to him after the great flood of Noah’s day, was the duty to have children and to take dominion over the earth. The “Dominion Mandate” has been the subject of much controversy, but in its essence it is a call to take every thought, deed, and action captive to the Lordship of Christ, to advance the work of the Lord in every realm, and to live lives of Kingdom service to our Savior. But does God still expect man to “be fruitful and multiply?” Are children a blessing in the twenty-first century? Are they a gift of the Lord? If so, how do they fit into the dominion mandate of Genesis?

Join William Einwechter as he exposits these great Scripture passages and makes practical application for twenty-first century Christians. Learn why the fulfillment of the dominion mandate hinges upon the Christian’s willingness to obey the two-part command of “be fruitful” and “subdue the earth.” This means rejecting the contempt for children that has gripped the West.
