The other day, The New York Times reports the story of a woman in NYC who desires to conceive a child with her boyfriend. To her surprise, God gives her triplets. She decides to kill two, leaving one alive. Attorney Ben DuPre who forwarded the article to me writes: “You read this wanting to come to the morality of the story, but it’s never discovered. It’s a cold-hearted and incredibly self-centered description of a mother murdering two of her children because more than one would be inconvenient to the life she lives. This woman is adrift in an amoral universe where the only right and wrong is what serves the imagined needs of her life, at the expense of her own children’s.”
