San Antonio’s historic Menger hotel (launching place for the Rough Riders) located just feet from the Alamo, recently unveiled this magnificent new bronze to one of the Texas’ original freedom fighters. This fabulous statue to William Barret Travis, depicts the courageous Alamo hero drawing by sword his now legendary “line in the sand.”
