The Einwechters Wield All Types of Swords

Special thanks to Joshua Einwechter for many weeks of hard work in preparing a beautifully handcrafted wooden Scottish Claymore for my fortieth birthday. I was deeply honored that Bill Einwechter (Th.M.) and his very talented, musical, wood-working, father-honoring, home-schooled boys traveled from Pennsylvania to North Carolina just to present me with this gift which I will always treasure.

Bill is an ordained minister with a deep passion for the Lord Jesus Christ. He serves as elder at Immanuel Free Reformed Church, is editor of The Christian Statesman, is the primary teacher on Vision Forum Ministries’ eleven-CD series The Great Debate over Baptism and the Covenant, and is part of the 2005 faculty of the Witherspoon School of Law and Public Policy, where he will provide a biblical overview of the doctrine of the law of God. Most recently, Vision Forum Ministries released some more of Bill’s outstanding teachings: “A Covenantal Perspective on the Jurisdiction of the Family and the Local Church” and “A Biblical Vision for Multi-Generational Faithfulness.”

In his message on multi-generational faithfulness, Bill explains: “The purpose of God for the Christian family is continuity, growth, development, and dominion. Each family that stands in covenant with Christ through the representative headship of the husband/father is part of that growing kingdom. If a man wants to change the world for generations to come, let him look well to his duties in the family, and be the means of continuing — or beginning, as the case may be — a dynasty of God-honoring, Christ-serving, kingdom-advancing children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.... The potential impact for the glory of God and the advance of His kingdom is exponential for the Christian family. The future belongs to families that exhibit multi-generational faithfulness and fruitfulness!”

An able defender of God’s Word, Bill has contributed a number of significant commentaries on issues ranging from biblical patriarchy to the sufficiency of scripture and voting ethics on the visionforum.org Web site. Look for this precious family, with their influence on church, state, family, and culture in the years to come.
