“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.

Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

We have so much for which to be thankful. Praise the Lord!

This Thanksgiving let’s stop and truly pour out our hearts before the Lord, sharing with him our thanksgiving and praise for what He has done for us. Let’s also give our children the necessary historical context for our national day of Thanksgiving by reflecting on the wonder and greatness of all that God accomplished through our Pilgrim fathers.

The four points I encouraged families to pursue are as follows: 1) Remember the God-blessed Visions of the Past; 2) Reaffirm the True Spiritual Foundations of Our National Days of Thanksgiving; 3) Rally Your Children to the Great Work of Family Reformation; and 4) Crave the Blessings of the Righteous Man.
