Base Camp Baltra Island Equador |
To My Fellow Creation Defenders and Explorers:
I’m writing you from my base camp on a small island six hundred miles off the coast of South America to ask for your help. In moments, I will be leaving for the United States, but before I get on the plane, I am penning this letter so that all of my friends can know that Dad and I urgently need more recruits for the Creation Response Team.
More on that in a moment. First, can I tell you a little about my adventure?
Wow! For the last week, my father and I have been in the middle of a top-secret mission on a series of very mysterious islands that have been described as “ground zero” for evolutionism. Throughout our adventure, we have been surrounded by many strange and wonderful creatures.
Twenty-four hours ago we were standing on a volcanic crater surrounded by hundreds of giant, salt-spitting marine Iguanas. That same day I tracked three giant tortoises, one of which was so old it may have been alive when Charles Darwin visited this same island in the 1830s. Later, Dad and I found ourselves at sea watching more than one thousand Blue-Footed Boobies dive-bombing like a squadron of P-51 Mustangs.
If you have followed my adventures before, then you can probably guess where I am — the Galapagos Islands!
The timing of our mission was perfect. As I write, evolutionists from all over the world are celebrating the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin, and the 150th anniversary of his book, On the Origin of Species. They are holding international events and releasing movies, books, and television shows dedicated to attacking God and the Bible, while praising Darwin and his Theory of Evolution.
Somehow these stories always seem to take evolutionists back here — to the Galapagos Islands. They think that Darwin saw things here that proved evolution. In fact, they call this place “a laboratory of evolution.”
Dad and I disagree. We think the Galapagos Islands are a showcase for the glory of creation, and we are about to prove our theory to everyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear! In the next two months, we hope to produce a new release called Jonathan Park Goes to the Galapagos. We want to make sure this exciting album is produced and available for radio in time for the anniversary of Darwin’s book, which takes place in November. If we are able to do this project, potentially millions of children from around the world will learn that there is another side to the story — the biblical and scientific side!
That is where you come in.
To get this message to the world, the Creation Response Team needs help putting the financial resources together to cover the expense of this project. That is one reason why we are looking for more people to join the Creation Response Team.
Will you join? Will you stand with my father and me as we try to let parents and children know that there is another side to the story than what you are hearing from the Darwinists this year? Will you help me to produce and share the important message of my latest adventure, Jonathan Park Goes to the Galapagos, with the world?
Before I sign off, I want to thank the Lord for two things. First, I am so thankful that God has allowed us to tell these important stories all over the world. The Jonathan Park Creation Radio Adventure is broadcast on more than 690 radio outlets and reaches nations as far away as Thailand and Cambodia. That’s amazing! It means that boys and girls all over the world can be blessed with the knowledge of the glory of God in creation.
Second, I want to thank God for you. Without the prayers and support of my faithful friends, this show would never happen. With your help, we can solve mysteries, explore lost cities of the ancients, challenge evolutionists, and proclaim the glory of God to boys and girls around the world.
Join the Creation Response Team!
