oin boys, girls, mothers, and fathers from around the nation on a national treasure hunt dedicated to rediscovering the mighty hand of God in Americas history. Journey through a maze of clues as you seek the location of the buried treasure. The clues ultimately lead to the hidden location of four hundred gold coins. But along the way, they reveal a treasure trove of stories from Americas forgotten providential history. There are three phases to the mystery of the Jamestown 400. Phase one begins with the mystery of the Vision Forum catalog and leads to a cyber journey of discovery, laced with clues in the form of codes, ciphers, and historic documents.
The first one thousand people to crack phase one of the mystery by March 31, 2007 April 16, 2007, will receive a special prize and will be inducted into the Order of the Jamestown 400, an honorary society dedicated to the preservation of Americas providential heritage.
In phase two, the mystery takes new twists. The first one hundred super-sleuths who make it to the end and solve the mystery no later than May 15, 2007, will have the opportunity to come to Jamestown (at their expense) as finalists for phase three: The physical hunt for the gold coins. The winner will be announced in Jamestown, Virginia, during the week of June 11, 2007, at the Vision Forum Ministries special Jamestown Quadricentennial: A Celebration of Americas Providential History.
All one hundred semi-finalists will receive free passes to the opening ceremony and to the Saturday award ceremony event. (This means semi-finalists can get in at noon on Saturday and stay for the rest of the day.) This applies only to the 100 semi-finalists who are actually selected for the event, not their families. If they want to attend the other events, or have their families participate, then they will need to purchase passses at the standard rates.

Hidden somewhere near or by the ancient landmarks of our colonial forefathers, lies a trove of buried treasure. Golden treasure.
Resting within a bolted wooden chest are four hundred solid gold coins with a value in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Whoever cracks the mystery of the Jamestown 400 becomes the sole owner of the treasure trove.
But to crack the code and find the four hundred gold coins, you must take a journey through history that will reveal Americas greatest national treasure the providential hand of God in the life of this nation.
