Doug's Blog: Letter on Nephew in Coma

Dear Doug, Thank you so much for your standing in the gap on this issue. My nephew is on a feeding tube and has been in a coma for over a year. He hears us and often responds in tears when we pray and read to him from the scriptures. He loves the Lord and I know the Lord is with him in his suffering. It is sad to see a nation as great as ours come to this kind of merciless act of starving one to death. I remember hearing in my youth that a true nation was judged by how it cared for those who, like Terri and our Ben, cannot care for themselves! God help us!
