One of the biggest stories of the 21st century concerns family demographics. The fact is that population is on the decline and mainstream Christians are leading the way.
Many professing Christians have joined the pagan world in embracing the anti-life birth control ethic of the worst philosophical movements of the 20th century. Two groups have resisted the anti-child trends. The first group is Christian home educators. (Of the 500 in attendance at the 200 Year Plan, the average family size was in excess of 7 children per family!) Muslims make up the second group with an open mind towards large families.
At the 200 Year Plan: A Practicum on Multi-Generational Faithfulness, I shared a message entitled “Seven Secrets of Successful Multi-Generational Visionaries.” There I explained the exponential numerical significance and potential generational impact of families teaching their children to love and desire a fruitful womb.
Now a story out of London is reporting that the birth rates of Muslims is going to outnumber the Roman Catholic churchgoers in just twelve years: “Based on a study by Christian Research, mosque-going Muslims in England and Wales would reach 683,000 by 2020, outnumbering Catholic churchgoers who would number 679,000 by that time. It also cites that over the same period the number of Muslims at mosques will overtake Church of England members at Sunday services.”
