Dear Vision Forum & Behemoth Staff,
I would like to thank you so very much for your truly visionary efforts in creating the Behemoth.com website. Now that the website is unveiled, I can tell you that I not just “hooked” on Behemoth, I am eternally grateful for it.
One of our children is dyslexic and the written word is mostly a mystery to him. As we walk through school each day, one of his greatest joys has been to listen to books on tape. About a year ago, we bought him an ipod and have been blessed with the way that device has served our son’s specific needs. Our biggest challenge, however, has been finding good literature for him to listen to. He has devoured ALL the Henty recordings, and anything by Jim Hodges (we hope he’ll produce more and more!) Our son also has enjoyed the works of many other gifted story tellers. But finding good things for him to listen to is a long and drawn out process. I usually wade through website after website and find not-so-good recordings of books. It is really a disappointment to spend money on something that does not capture my son’s imagination (or heart). Behemoth has changed that.
After a look at Behemoth, I am relieved that there is a site I can go to for audiobooks (and other items), and feel confident in what I buy. I can already tell that your “legwork” in identifying audiobooks will save me many hours of research time, and will also enrich my son’s life as he hears great stories told by wonderful story tellers.
Thank you for your hard work, and for the way it will impact others.
Many Blessings in Christ,
Sarah
