In 1913 a book was given as a gift to my great grandmother, Marian Ruth Pack Carl,
from her Sunday School teachers. She gave it to my grandmother to give to my mother.
Eventually, this book was passed on to me. It is an 1896 edition of the timeless
Elsie novel! The ladies in my family have been enjoying this book for nearly 100
