It only happened once, and it will never be repeated — The Reformation 500 Celebration drew Christian families from across the nation to celebrate, study, and learn from the amazing legacy of John Calvin and the Protestant Reformation. We rejoiced together as we remembered the quincentenary of the birth of John Calvin and the 500-year tradition of Reformers such as Martin Luther, John Knox, and Theodore Beza as well as the countless martyrs whose courage and faith reshaped the West and birthed modern liberty. This event exceeded all of our expectations for its beauty and power as a testimony of the mighty hand of God in the history of the Church — the mighty acts He has done to conquer tyranny and preserve the true faith. May the Lord Jesus Christ be praised for His loving kindness and His mercies.

Vision, Providential History, Hope

Over the course of this incredible week, attendees experienced life in historic Boston to the fullest as they interacted with more than forty impersonators from ages past — Reformers, kings, princesses, heroes of the faith, and other historical figures, all in full costume; marched in the Children’s Parade with a Fife and Drum corp; listened in amazement as representatives of John Calvin and Charles Darwin went head-to-head in a historic debate full of laughter and the clash of their two diametrically-opposing worldviews; participated in an exciting Treasure Hunt; enjoyed Faith and Freedom tours at important sites from America’s history; and watched the spectacular fireworks display over the Charles River. Most importantly, attendees listened to never-before-given lectures on the great men of our Christian faith and learned how the Reformation heroes of the sixteenth century shook the West and blazed a trail of liberty around the globe.
