The biblical example is that entire families are present for corporate worship. Age-segregated worship is rooted in evolutionary humanism, not biblical Christianity. “Suffer the little children” to be in the presence of God and begin to experience the true blessing of family-centered worship.

Having just finished your tape on The Role of Children in the Meeting of the Church, I just wanted to say thank you. My husband pastors a small church in a small farming community in Washington state. Our heart (and we believe God’s heart as well) for our church since he started pastoring (on our fifth year) has been to keep the family together for the meeting. Others have pushed for Sunday school, children’s church, etc., but we have seen God bless only when we keep the children with us, the parents, in our worship times. Some have left the church because of the lack of “children’s ministries” we have to offer. ... I wanted to encourage you and thank you for putting on tape our hearts. This will be one tape we pass around to many in our town! We’re also in the midst of our second year of home schooling our two sons and finding out how much God wants to teach us about Himself and our family through the whole process. We are excited to see our young men growing in their love for and knowledge of God! Sorry for the length, but this is a very “hot” issue for us right now and your tape was just what I needed to hear!
